Dear all,
I'm studying pedestrian movement in the centre of my city but i have doubts about how to proceed with the regression analysis. Hope someone can help me.
1. When I try to stablish a relationship between ped. mov. and space syntax variables (connectivity, choice and integration), would I have to distinguish between local and global values? (Because being different radius the parameters to get them are different, or not?)
i.e. I have to setting a regression between ped.mov. and connectivity, choiceR200, integrationR200; then setting a regression between ped.mov. and connectivity, choiceR800, integrationR800; then seeing which of these two types of variables (local or global) is more powerful to explain the relationship between ped. mov. and space syntax; or i have to do a regression between ped.mov. and connectivity, choiceR200, choiceR800, integrationR200, integrationR800 all together?
2. Is normal that the value of choice has a negative relation with the ped. mov.?
I attached the results of the regressions in case someone could correct something.
