Dear Colleagues
I would like to bring to your attention the recent publication of the second edition of Handbook for Doctoral Supervisors, authored by Stan Taylor, Margaret Kiley and myself, and I attach the flier which gives details of the book and of the opportunity to order copies at a 20% discount, until this Christmas.
The first edition was known for its accessible writing style, relevance across disciplines and grounding in the latest research on doctoral policy and pedagogy, and was used by many institutions in supervisory training sessions. The second edition has been completely rewritten and updated, with new examples and case studies, and has been designed to help doctoral supervisors reflect on, and where appropriate, enhance their practice.
If you would like to get back to me about any queries you might have about the book, then please do so.
And with best wishes
Robin
