Ah, but what do we mean by that term?
A series of poems connected not by narrative is one way of talking about it. The great essay defining it is (if I remember correctly) ‘The Fire’ by Robin Blaser, a great practitioner, & who wrote about his companion in the art, Jack Spicer.
