CILIP in Kent are delighted to host a one-day conference on library and information research. This event aims to develop an awareness of current trends in research and potential areas of interest to inform working practice.
Professor Hazel Hall will discuss the value of practitioner research and will explore current areas of research interest. Claire Sewell will consider librarians as researchers. Alison Hicks will focus on reframing information literacy research. Rebecca Daniels, Steve Dixon-Smith, and Kirsty Wallis will talk about their own research practice. There will be plenty of opportunity to question the speakers. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
