But, as well as the flaky server, we have still need a broader
discussion about the LFC.
As Sam and Daniela make clear, we need ideas about whether the LFC is
being wound down, and how that transition, if it is necessary, should be
made. And if it is not necessary, then we need to talk about keeping it
going.
Also, I think I'm right in assuming that the situation goes to pot when
we move to Centos7 (I'm not exactly sure why, but I'll follow a link
Daniela gave me.)
In summary, we'll get that server fixed for now, but (I except) we will
continue to "deprecate" the LFC for new developments; convince existing
VOs to drop it; and hope to do so before Centos7 is so widely deployed
that things go to pot on their own.
