Hi Chris,
This is a problem with the build tool used to create standalone versions of FSLeyes. If you are able to, installing FSLeyes through pip should work (but see the notes at https://fsl.fmrib.ox.ac.uk/fsl/fslwiki/FSLeyes first). Also, a new version of FSLeyes should be released soon which will fix this problem.
