The Institute Education at the University of Derby is seeking to appoint two External Examiners for the Foundation Degree Children’s and Young People’s Services (Pathway), with duties commencing from the 1st of August 2018. The Foundation Degree Children’s and Young People’s Services has three pathways; Teaching Assistant, Health and Social Care and Early Years. We are seeking two candidates to support the Health and Social Care and Early Years pathway.
We currently have twelve Collaborative Partners delivering the programme within FE Colleges and we are continuing to grow. We are ideally looking for applicants with experience of delivering and managing Foundation Degrees, Honour’s Degree Programmes and those who have experience working with Collaborative Partners. The role essentially involves examining scripts, writing reports, attending boards and undertaking visits to Collaborative Partner sites. The appointment would be for a period of four years and the candidate/s are required to have current expertise in practice based Vocational Programmes.
