Hi everybody,
This is a very complex issue and it is being really painful in Catalonia
and/or Spain. I think that the international media is reflecting pretty
well what is happening, although some times their position is not neutral
but more pro-Catalan or pro-Spanish. The Spanish media is not being neutral
at all, but very partial; and the same is applicable to Spanish/Catalan
politicians who have published opinions in some international newspapers
(e.g. Puigdemont - current President of Catalonia - or Solana - former
Minister of Spain - in the last few days). My international colleagues in

None of them necessarily match with my personal view.
I cross my fingers in order this Sunday the 1st of October there is no
physical violence in Catalonia. However, other types of violence and
repression have already been applied - there are thousands of
policemen/women (part of them military) sent from other parts of Spain to
Catalonia in the last ten days, this has never happened before in
democratic (sic) Spain - and the conflict is gaining momentum....
