Dear All,
I have yet to read the article, not least because like others I am
reluctant to download it and add to the surge of interest it will no
doubt get. But I think I'll have to, so happy to send it on to you Pam.
The journal is very respectable though - Third World Quarterly has an
interesting (although in parts controversial) history, but it was set up
in a radical spirit. It's name reflects the positive assertion of 'Third
World-ist spirit' that Vijay Prashad writes about so well in 'The Darker
Nations: A People's History of the Third World'. (I should add I have
published in TWQ, but wouldn't defend it for that!)
