Yeats certainly expected, or at least hoped, that the material in A Vision would be used by his fellow-students of magic; to what extent any individuals or groups may have done so privately isn't easy to know.
There are at least two astrological uses of the material: Moon Phases, by Martin Goldsmith, and Phases of the Moon, by Marilyn Busteed, Richard Tiffany, and Dorothy Wergin. Bob Makransky's The Great Wheel: a commentary on the System of W.B. Yeats' A Vision, provides some magical and meditative exercises for use with the material, including instruction in automatic writing. To what extent these publications reflect the work of "occult groups" (as distinguished from, say, a group of astrologers collaborating on a book) isn't clear.
The Castle of Heroes material, as published, would need some development and adjustment to be actually put to use, but it wouldn't surprise me if more than one person had been tempted to do so.
