Agreed Anne. A contract I work on involved employees doing initial DSE themselves, with facilities MGT involvement as needed, and then to OH for issues unless existing MSK/disability. I will get involved with those. Training can always be provided to h&s/other area by OH to support with DSE assessments. Depends on number of staff employed/new starters and how much time you have. I have two days a month on this site and have to prioritise the cases with highest need. I just couldn't do all of them.
