Subject: FW: LAST OPPORTUNITY - LIMITED EDITION CARIBBEAN TOURS; SPECIAL EVENT WTH DR JOCELYN IMANI & MORE ALL AT THE V&A

From: Janet Browne [mailto:[log in to unmask]]

Greetings One and All,

Hope this finds you well.

[cid:image003.png@01D3186D.8CABAF40]

I am recovering from the wonderful ‘Ghana – A Nation in Retrospective’ event two weeks ago! The colours, cloth and culture was mesmerising, especially the Chiefs, Queen Mothers, Archbishops and other honoured guests and VIPs was spectacular. Over 800+ visitors embarked on some amazing workshops, performances, talks, a photo salon and lovely chocolate courtesy of DIVINE.

I would like to take this opportunity to apologise for the poor sound quality during the presentation of the speeches made by Tristram Hunt, V&A Director, Papa Owusu-Ankamah, Ghana High Commissioner UK and N.I, Lord Boateng of Akyem and Wembley. We had a great number of compliments regarding the content of the event, and some complaints about the poor sound quality, which is currently being looked into by our Audio Team, who worked hard on the night under difficult circumstances. I hope this did not spoil your evening, and that you will visit us again at the museum in the near future.

Onwards and upwards…….

We continue with our Caribbean Festival Season with the final weeks remaining of the
