Two Customer Advisor roles are available on a 12 months contract. These are key roles at a time when the Archives and Heritage Service is, like many other council services, being reviewed to ensure limited resources are used to best effect. Each role is for 31 hours a week, and the salary is pro rata. The working pattern is Tuesday to Friday, plus one Saturday morning a month. The post is based at the Record Office, Wootton Hall Park, Northampton, NN4 8BQ.
An interest in history/heritage and previous customer service experience are essential, together with a flexible and team-based approach with openness to change.
The interviews for those shortlisted will be held at the Record Office on Friday 15 September 2017.
