Financial Data Scientists, Statistics, The European Central Bank
Frankfurt, Germany
You will be part of the Directorate General Statistics (DG/S), which develops, compiles and disseminates statistics required by the European Central Bank (ECB) to fulfil its responsibilities in the areas of central banking and European banking supervision.
In response to rapid developments in economic and financial markets, DG/S is expanding its collection of microdata in the area of loans, securities and derivatives and on the entities involved. Managing, connecting and integrating these substantially increased volumes of data requires a new approach, integrating technology more deeply into the data processing. To support this effort, DG/S is now seeking applications from financial data scientists to fill a number of positions as Economist-Statisticians.
Working with other Economist-Statisticians, you will help DG/S to enhance the ECB’s statistical function in order to improve measurement, data integration, performance and agility, capturing changing market behaviours and addressing varying user needs.
