My understanding is 60mm is the lowest to be detectable, although that is disputed by some. Normally 100 - 120mm (in some cases up to 150mm) which allows for some resurfacing . Higher kerbs are needed for some buses there is normally a local agreement on the height for the raised kerbs in place to assist bus companies (140 - 160mm).

Subject: specified kerb height
Hi
Can anyone point me in the direction of a government document which specifies the height of kerbs for roads?
I am aware of the recent call for a moratorium on new schemes from the report from the Women and Equalities committee but as nothing has actually been banned I am trying to get a scheme to adopt 'standard height kerbs' - they are asking what is a standard height? They had been proposing only 60mm height in some of the scheme and none in the rest but it would help if I could point to something official but can only find an 'off hand' reference in a guide to heights of traffic humps!
Any help appreciated
Thanks
Justin Ryan
