Hi Theresa,
We used to limit access, but it caused all manner of unnecessary problems.
Our assessment included;
Movement round the Trust of staff and patients
Trust-wide Caldicott training/awareness
Once trained, we allocate each user a "home" location (their usual ward/clinic), but allow access to use all meters

Subject: Glucose meters
Can I ask those of you with connected glucose meters if you allow staff access to all the meters or limit their access to the meters on their ward/unit?
Our IG department are unhappy with staff having Trust wide access.
