Hi Theresa,
Our staff have access to all glucose meters as individual access would be very difficult to apply, we do however limit access to the Blood gas analysers.
Why are your IG department unhappy? Surely this is the same as staff having access to all PC's within the Trust as long as they log in with their unique identifier

Subject: Glucose meters
Can I ask those of you with connected glucose meters if you allow staff access to all the meters or limit their access to the meters on their ward/unit?
Our IG department are unhappy with staff having Trust wide access.
