Basically: no. When topcat reads a table, it stores it according to
its own data model, and doesn't remember much about the format-specific
details of the format it reads it from (FITS or VOTable or whatever).
You can use it as a table editor, but if you try to use it as a
FITS BINTABLE editor you may be disappointed.
