Penny Brohn Cancer Care Centre, Bristol BS20 0HH
Friday 22 September 2017
9.30 am - 18.00 pm
£45 or £25 for students/concessions – lunch included.
Landscape, Gardens & Health Network invites conference delegates to combine the theoretical with the practical and to experience the benefits of a therapeutic landscape for themselves.
The conference aims to provide a forum for those wishing to discuss and debate the role of therapeutic landscapes and gardens today. It will introduce current research and innovative approaches to nature, everyday landscapes and wellbeing. The event will consider the role of research within healthcare design. It will explore the ways in which therapeutic garden design, activities and landscape research can also offer different ways of understanding - beyond the measurable and prescriptive.
