Stanford has a "THE CENTER FOR COMPASSION AND ALTRUISM RESEARCH AND EDUCATION".

I'm an alum, so I read the alum magazine, and they've done some
studies on this topic. I think it's called the "science of mind":
the ability to know what someone else is feeling. (My memory
about this is vague, so I'm not 100% sure that's what it's called.)
I've often thought this would be an interesting test for midwives.
Please share your work as much as you can when it's ready!
Regards,
Ronnie

I would like to kindly ask for some information about a presentation I am doing which addresses how the qualities of care and compassion might be assessed when selecting students for the pre-registration midwifery programme and how they can be further enhanced during the students’ time on the programme.
