HONG KONG PHD FELLOWSHIP SCHEME
for PhD study at Dept of Systems Engineering and Engineering Management, City University of Hong Kong
Hong Kong PhD Fellowship is a prestigious award established by the Research Grants Council (RGC) of the HKSAR Government, aims at attracting the best and brightest students in the world to pursue their research degree programs in Hong Kong's institutions. Students graduated or graduating with bachelor or master degree with good academic records and experience are welcome to apply.
The Fellowship awardee will receive:
• a monthly stipend of HK$20,000 (~US$2,600)
• conference and research related travel allowance of HK$10,000 (~US$1,300) per year
• "CYCSGS Entrance Scholarships" (around HK$71,500, ~US $9,200) which covers student's
tuition and on-campus hostel accommodation fees in the 1st year of research studies.

The Academic Ranking of World Universities by Shanghai Jiao Tong University (2016) ranked us as 24 in Engineering/ Technology and Computer Sciences. Systems Engineering and Engineering Management (SEEM) Department has many world-leading faculties in their respective research area. Research in Systems Engineering includes Reliability, Risk Analysis, Statistics, Data Mining, Operations Research, Manufacturing Systems, Logistics and Supply Chain, Human Factors Engineering, etc. Research in Engineering Management includes Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Project Management, Operations Management, Quality Management, Engineering Asset Management, etc.
