User Services Team Leader (REQ00781)
Grade 6, £25,298 - £28,452 per annum
Permanent, full-time (36 hours per week)
Library Services at the University of Essex provides high quality, user-focused services to support the learning, teaching and research needs of the university. The User Services team is responsible for the delivery of a consistent, high quality library service to users, including the Helpdesk and the maintenance of the library space and environment.
We are currently seeking a User Services Team leader who will play a key role in shaping and developing frontline library services to support the University’s commitment to an outstanding student experience. The successful candidate will be one of two posts who share the day-to-day leadership and co-ordination of the User Services team. Additionally the roleholder will be required to undertake regular evening and weekend duties supervising small teams of library staff. Applicants should demonstrate excellent organisational, communication and IT skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service through innovation and continuous improvement.
This post is based at our Colchester campus and is offered on a full-time, permanent basis.
