Hello all,
Can I ask if HER colleagues are familiar with and make use of the online forums run by the LGA on Knowledge Hub?
An update from the Knowledge Hub led me to the LGA group looking at Geographical and Spatial information, which looks particularly relevant to HERs. Link to that group is

It's one of the groups (like HERForum) that you need to Join rather than simply wander into, but from the outside it looks useful. There's a discussion there at the moment on brownfield land registers, which I would guess is relevant.
There is a whole Network on the Knowledge Hub run by LGA - other groups there include the Planning Advisory Service (very large and active), and a group on Tackling Metal Theft (small but relevant).
For a long time HE have had a Historic Environment Group running on Knowledge Hub at https://khub.net/group/historicenvironment but it's an online ghost-town in need of some redevelopment. What would work for you?
I'd be interested to hear how many HERForum people use the Knowledge Hub as well. Or if you've looked at it and decided it's not for you, I'd like to hear from you (happy for you to contact me offline if you prefer - [log in to unmask] )
Thanks all,
Edmund
