Archives and Library Assistant x 2 (fixed-term) School of Scottish Studies Archives, Library and University Collections, Central Edinburgh

£18,940 to £21,220 per annum

You will assist with the provision of a full and effective range of services providing access to the heritage and cultural collections for staff, students and external researchers and visitors to the School of Scottish Studies Archives and associated libraries within its new facility. You will be the first point of contact for initial enquiries relating to these collections, the issuing of books from the library collections, providing clear advice on use of unique items within the reading room and assisting users in utilising catalogues and resources. In addition to this you will take an active part in the team and promote the collections in the new facility in George Square.
These posts are offered on a full-time (35 hours per week), fixed-term basis for 18 months and will be located in the School of Scottish Studies Archive at 29 George Square.
