An upcoming week-long event that may be of interest to members of this list:
Summer Institute in Qualitative Research: Putting Theory to Work
Monday 10th July – Friday 14th July 2017
Manchester Metropolitan University, UK
http://www.esri.mmu.ac.uk/siqr/index17.php
I'm biassed because it is run by my colleagues, but this is a very cool event if you are into post-structuralism, post-humanism, post-qualitative methods, new materialism, experimental / performative / arts-based methods etc. Each day has keynotes and discussions focussed on theory, and workshop and art-based sessions that are more practical. e.g. I'll be doing an unsound walk with sound artist Mark Peter Wright. It runs over a whole week so it is immersive and fun - you get to hang out with people in the evenings etc.
Further details below.
Best wishes,
Michael
