Dear all,
At the GRC I spoke to someone who never submitted jobs through the 'Run
now!' button on the relion-2 GUI. Instead, this person (and all the people
around him) would print the command and submit jobs through self-made job
submission scripts. Although this works OK, it makes no use of the
'pipeline' functionality in (the lower part of) the GUI. I'm not sure how
wide-spread this way of working is, but I would encourage those who
recognise this, to invest a little time in making a standard qsub job
submission script for their queue system. That way all jobs can be sent
through the GUI, and hence full advantage of the new functionality can be
taken.
Details on the pipeline functionalities were published in the proceedings
of the 2016 CCPEM Spring symposium:

There are more practical instructions in the tutorial on the wiki, and
tips and examples of qsub scripts are on the Wiki as well.
Have fun,
Sjors
