Hi all,
For the past 4 years we have produced an annual publication in a variety of formats (print and online) to support our leadership role and to celebrate the archives sector as a whole. A Year in Archives (in print) is intended to be used by other archives and record offices to influence their funders, key decision makers and communities by highlighting the key work and activity occurring in the sector and the importance of archives overall.
Due to the success of last years' A Year in Archives, we plan to produce this publication in a similar format; an open gatefold handout with a poster on the reverse side. The poster offers a more public facing approach, providing a snapshot of the sector. The handout features case studies from the sector, illustrating themes from Archives Unlocked: trust, enrichment, openness, resilience, digital and impact.
We are now at the stage of finalising the case studies but are still looking for content to be featured throughout and especially in the poster. This could be images, stats, social media, quotes or anything else that shouts 'archives matter'.
Content should be sent either to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>
Deadline for submission is Friday 21 July 2017.
Looking forward to your responses.
