The Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) distributes public money for higher education to universities and colleges in England, and ensures that this money is used to deliver the greatest benefit to students and the wider public.
We are seeking to recruit an Analyst to join our supportive, enthusiastic, and high performing Analytical Services Directorate (ASD). Our Analysts apply a range of data analytics techniques to large sets of data in order to inform decision-makers in HEFCE and wider government.
The role features a variety of technology and responsibilities, so a willingness to learn is vital. ASD values knowledge sharing and development; we offer both external and internal training that covers SAS programming, IT, and interpersonal skills.
We are seeking candidates with the ability to support data collections, gain insight from large sets of data, develop conclusions and present results clearly and concisely. You will need a qualification with a significant numerical background, and experience in at least one programming language.
