I think the conference at Lampeter was c. 1975. As far as I know the
papers/lectures were not circulated, so I don`t have a copy. The papers
at the 1969 Taliesin Congress were published and you might find those
interesting - the volume was edited by J. E. Caerwyn Williams. The 1974
conference was, like 1969, for both sections and was with Yugoslavia,
which had some six different linguistic traditions.

When I became Secretary of the English Language Section of Yr Academi Gymreig in 1968 I was told more or less, `They`ve let you have your corner, but know your place and don`t bother them` - `them` being the Welsh Section, In practice I already knew quite a few of our fellow writers in other contexts, and in 1969 we joined together to organise that year`s Taliesin Congress for all the Celtic nations. One of the highlights of my life came a few years later when at Lampeter Harri Webb gave a (Welsh language) lecture to the Welsh Section at their annual conference, to an audience including Saunders Lewis and Hugh McDiarmid in the front row.
