Dear Cathy
I found some of the other responses to your question very helpful for my own research.
Here are a few more peer-reviewed articles relevant to science communication training that you may find useful.

Subject: [PSCI-COM] research on training scientists for public engagement / science communication?
Hi everyone,
Does anyone know of any good peer reviewed articles on what does / doesn't work / methods / when training scientists for public engagement? I've noticed a few but these are from a while ago and with the surge of training over the past 5-8 years I was surprised not to see much out there.
Thanks!
Best wishes,
Cathy
