Dear FSL experts,
I would be very grateful for feedback on a problem that I am having running a fixed effects analysis.
I have set up FEAT to run a higher-level fixed effects analysis to combine two runs of the same task, and I am doing this per subject. For many of the subjects that I have this runs fine, however it crashes for subjects that appear to be missing certain files at the lower-level (preprocessing/modelling) stage.
This is the command (in the fixed effects report log) that fails:
/apps/software/fsl/5.0.10/bin/fslmaths /group/SST1a_001_v1.feat/reg_standard/stats/cope1 -mul 0 -add 152 /group/reg_standard/stats/FEtdof_t1
Error: failed to open file /group/SST1a_001_v1.feat/reg_standard/stats/FEtdof_t1.nii.gz
Image Exception : #22 :: ERROR: Could not open image /group/SST1a_001_v1.feat/reg_standard/stats/FEtdof_t1
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'RBD_COMMON::BaseException'
My assumptions/questions are the following:
(1) It appears that the fixed effects analysis requires these types of images: FEtdof_t1.nii.gz, but it can't find them.
(2) The error then appears to be at the lower-level where these images are generated (in my case, these are present for some subjects and not others). However, no errors are present in the report generated at this stage even in cases where the files are missing.
(3) Would anyone have any idea why these files would not be generated at the lower level? All cope and varcope images are generated.
Apologies if any of this is unclear, I would be happy to provide further information if needed.
Thanks,
Sara
