I shall stop bothering you all soon but here again, for info, are the full notes from the first meeting (which was Nov not Dec!)
Also attached are Keara Stewart's lovely visual notes from the meeting
As you can see, the only completed action is that Jackie Batey set up the Facebook group.

UK Zine Librarians meeting – British Library Conference Centre, 7th November 2015, 1-4.30pm
In attendance:
Jackie Batey (University of Portsmouth, Illustration)
Nick Brown (Stuart Hall Library)
Ruth Collingwood (London College of Communication Library)
Debbie Cox (British Library)
Leigh Ann Hamel (Forgotten Zine Archive, Dublin)
Leila Kassir (London College of Communication Library)
Keara Stewart (London College of Fashion Library)
Notes:
* We began with introductions to ourselves and our collections
* We discussed how we can make our collections more visible
o Newsletter – along the lines of Sarah Bodman’s Book Arts Newsletter, which could be sent annually
o Online directory – containing perhaps top level collection descriptions, terms of access, contacts and web links. Action we decided to act on this. LK to set up a Wordpress or Blogger for this purpose
o Social media – Facebook page was mooted as a method to encourage discussion. Not everybody feels comfortable discussing or posting via the JISC List. JISC List can also lead to email overload. Facebook could be less formal and could encourage discussions via the comments. Action Jackie will set up a Facebook page
o We discussed how the blog could be open (as it acts as a means of public engagement with our collections) and the Facebook page could be closed to members only (to facilitate discussion)
* We discussed what we think the group should be and what it should be called
o Not everyone on the list or at the meeting is a librarian or a library worker. As such, we decided that the group would be better represented being called UK and Irish Zine Collections.
o This led to discussion of who could be a member and what counts as a collection (i.e. not personal collectors of zines) and a clear statement of intent is needed. Action Leila and Holly to draft statement
* NB mentioned Hamja from DIY Cultures would like the group to facilitate a workshop at the next DIY Cultures (24th May 2016).
* We discussed the idea of a ‘conference’ and all present wanted this to happen.
o We discussed formats – perhaps the morning could be presentations by members from the group (on the 20 slides, 20 seconds per slide method) with the afternoon given over to more in depth discussions led by people (researchers, perhaps) who have used the collections
o We mooted the idea of holding the conference in DIY Space for London
o Although we used the word conference the idea would be less formal, and more of a gathering or event
o We discussed the inability to pay speakers and whether or not this would be problematic. We would need to be clear about this when asking people to come along.
o We thought we could have a mini zine library there for the duration of the event
o We’d need a long run-in so wondered if July 2016 (International Zine Month) would be a good time.
* Zine Day
o We also discussed choosing a day and all members of the group who wanted to join in could display zines, hold an event, run a workshop on that day and we would publicise this as a collective event around the UK and Irish collections
o We dismissed International Zine Libraries Day as this is in July and is no good for academic libraries (end of term)
* Zine Ethics Zine
o We briefly discussed the Zine Ethics zine posted by Jenna Freedman on the JISC list
o As we’d not all had the chance to read it we didn’t discuss in great detail but agreed we would do so and comment via the JISC list
* The meeting ended with a display of zines from the British Library’s collections
