CALL FOR PAPERS

The 9th International Workshop on Performance Evaluation of Wireless
Networks (PEWiN-2017)
http://people.chu.edu.tw/~pewin/2017
(Co-located with the Sixth International Conference on Future Generation
Communication Technologies
Irish Computer Soceity, Dublin, Ireland
August 21-23, 2017
(www.socio.org.uk/fgct)

Workshop on Performance Evaluation of Wireless Networks (PEWiN), as an
international workshop, is devoted to deeper understanding in the
performance evaluation and simulation techniques of wireless networks
including mobile ad hoc networks, wireless sensor networks, vehicular ad
hoc networks, underwater sensor networks, and all kinds of wireless
networks. Wireless networks raise a number of interesting and
undiscovered performance evaluation and simulation issues, while
traditional techniques are not sufficient to analyze, evaluate, and
simulate proposed wireless algorithms or systems in the right way. For
example, the algorithms and systems in vehicular ad hoc networks require
a high degree of communication reliability, short communication delay,
scalability, security, and privacy-preserving technologies under harsh
condition. Researchers not only need to design practical distributed and
centralized algorithms, but also need to introduce novel theoretical
models or evaluation methodologies to challenge various kinds of
research problems originated from these wireless networks. The workshop
is intended to encourage idea sharing and cooperation among researchers
in wireless networks, and push the theoretical and practical research
forward for a deeper understanding in the theoretical modeling,
evaluation and analysis techniques, and simulation methods in wireless
networks.

Submitted papers will be carefully evaluated based on originality,
significance, technical soundness, and clarity of exposition. Do not
exceed 6 single-space double column, 8.5×11-inch pages (including
figures, tables and references) in 11 point Times Roman or similar font.
Number each page. Include an abstract, five to ten keywords, the
technical area(s) most relevant to your paper, and the corresponding
author's e-mail address. Submissions should represent original,
substantive research results.

We will not accept any paper which, at the time of submission, is under
review for or has already been published (or accepted) for publication
in another conference or journal. Submitted papers will be carefully
evaluated based on originality, significance, technical soundness, and
clarity of exposition. All papers will be refereed by at least two
members of the program committee. All submitted papers MUST be formatted
according to the author guidelines provided by IEEE Computer Society
Press (two-column format) and MUST NOT be longer than SIX pages.
However, additional pages (up to 4) will permitted based on extra fee of
$60 per page. All submissions MUST be blind. Authors should not specify
their names and affiliations in the paper.

Please prepare your paper in a PDF file and upload your paper via the
following link:
