The next meeting of the Public Sector Group will be taking place on Friday 16th June at the Westminster Archives Centre. The theme will be “Managing the records management relationship between public authorities and commissioned services in the Third Sector including business continuity”.
A draft agenda for the event will be placed on the Information and Records Management Society website shortly - but in the meantime, please take a look at the following information:
We are delighted to welcome Alison North as our keynote speaker. Alison will be speaking about creating and managing retention schedules so that the Third Sector and the Public Sector can work together.
Our next speaker will be Victoria Blyth, who will be discussing the management of Third Sector / Public Sector relationships.
We next welcome Dr Paul Duller who will be speaking with regards to Business Continuity.
Finally, we welcome Tony May who will be discussing which records should be retained around fostering arrangements.
The meeting is free of charge. If you would like to book a place please email [log in to unmask] . Preferential booking will be given to IRMS members until 2 weeks before the event, so please state whether you are an IRMS member when you book. Places are limited to 60, so book now to avoid disappointment.
