Emma Wilson is Professor of French Literature and the Visual Arts at the University of Cambridge and a fellow of Corpus Christi College. Her recent books include Love, Mortality and the Moving Image (2012). She has written on various women directors including Jane Campion, Chantal Akerman, Agnès Varda and Mia Hansen-Løve. She is writing a volume on Céline Sciamma for the Visionaries series (to be published by Edinburgh University Press)
Shelley Cobb is Associate Professor of Film at the University of Southampton. She has published widely on women filmmakers, film adaptation, celebrity culture and chick flicks and is currently Principal Investigator of the AHRC-funded project “Calling the Shots: Women and Film Culture in the UK, 2000-2015”. Her books include Adaptation, Authorship and Contemporary Women Filmmakers (Palgrave, 2015) and the edited collection First Comes Love: Power Couples, Celebrity Kinship and Cultural Politics (Bloomsbury, 2016).
Lucy Bolton is Senior Lecturer in film studies at Queen Mary University of London. She has published on women’s cinema, women filmmakers and female stars, and on various philosophical questions about film and women philosophers. She is currently writing a book on cinema and the philosophy of Iris Murdoch.
