The panel will discuss how creative business models might effectively integrate ethical frameworks, social purpose and profitability to create sustainable businesses, considering the strengths and weaknesses of current and potential creative business models, the challenges and opportunities they present and how they might evolve or pivot in the future.
Key topics the panel will focus on are:
• The social dimension of creative businesses - the rise of the 'sharing economy’, the relationship between businesses and local and digital communities
• Measuring value - why, how, what kinds of value are we talking about, how do we define success?
• Growth - what kind of growth, is growth always the answer?
• Investment and support - what role do/could they play?
