The UKSG Committee invites you to suggest topics and speakers for our 2018 Annual Conference, to be held in Glasgow from Monday 9 to Wednesday 11 April 2018
The conference attracts almost 1,000 delegates from across the global knowledge community, including librarians, publishers and intermediaries. It provides a much respected forum for discussing trends, showcasing initiatives, finding out about current practice across sectors, and connecting with other professionals.
Suggestions are invited for topics for plenary sessions, breakout sessions and lightning talks; in all cases, we welcome suggestions of speakers alongside topic ideas. Please submit your suggestions via the UKSG website: www.uksg.org/event/conference18/CFP2018<http://www.uksg.org/event/conference18/CFP2018>
The Committee will be initially assessing the applications using a blind review system so we encourage you to get as much relevant and engaging information as possible into the abstract.
The deadline for suggestions is Sunday 11 June 2017. We will aim to contact you by the end of July to let you know if your idea has been taken up.
**NB: This is a call specifically for the UKSG Annual Conference in Glasgow, 9-11 April 2018 and is not associated with the UKSG One-Day Conference (London, 15 November 2017) or the UKSG Forum (London, 16 November 2017). A separate call for papers concerning the 2017 Forum has been issued www.uksg.org/events/forum/cfp2017<http://www.uksg.org/events/forum/cfp2017> **
We look forward to your suggestions
Best wishes
On behalf of the UKSG Committee
