Readers of this list who are visiting Kew in the next few months, might be interested in a small exhibition "Joseph Hooker: Putting Plants in their Place", which commemorates the 200th anniversary of Hooker's birth. It brings together art and artefacts that illustrate Hooker's life and work, and which explore his significance and lasting influence.
The exhibition is at the Shirley Sherwood Gallery, Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, until 17 September. Admission is free (once you've entered the gardens). There are more details here:
