Dear Colleagues,
Further to my earlier email, please note that our end of project event will now take place on 19 June on the Middlesex University campus (Hendon Central Underground).
My colleagues and I will share the results of our 18 month ESRC-DFID project on refugee reception in the Mediterranean (EVI-MED), drawn from surveys undertaken with our partners in Italy, Greece and Malta.
In addition, we are planning to show a trailer of the new MOAS documentary which was filmed and edited by our graduates, Zane Dedlow and Dale Gillett. We will also introduce Middlesex University Fine Arts graduate and refugee artist Simon Hiyle who was rescued in the Mediterranean, as were two of his sisters and his younger brother. All embarked on separate journeys from Eritrea and one was rescued by MOAS.
Please find below further information about the event and a link to the online registration system. I very much hope you can join us.
