Dear all
Please find below links to our current Summer time courses:
Introduction to hydrogeological risk assessment for Contaminated Land<http://www.lqm.co.uk/training/hydrogeology/> - 6th June 2017 (Nottingham)
Get to grips with the Environment Agency's Remedial Targets Methodology and Worksheet which provides a framework for assessing the risks to controlled waters from land contamination, and for deriving site-specific remedial targets for contaminated soils and groundwater where those risks are unacceptable.
Getting value from your data: a hands on GIS Course<http://www.lqm.co.uk/training/gisintro/> - 20th June 2017 (Nottingham)
Using the detailed hands-on tutorials, combine your chemical & geology data with other readily available datasets and mapping to help you understand your sources and risks at your sites, improve your conceptual model, risk communication and cost effective solutions.
Introduction to Chemistry for Contaminated Land<http://www.lqm.co.uk/training/introchem/> - 27th June 2017 (Nottingham)
Contaminant chemistry is vital to understanding the potential health impacts of contaminants, the likely exposure routes and the fate and transport processes that will drive (or limit) their migration through soil, air and water. Such information is an absolute requirement for ensuring that all potentially significant contaminant linkages are included in the site conceptual model.
Please note that the ever popular 5-Day Introduction to Contaminated Land series is back in September in the 2-day (6-7th Sep 2017) and 3-day (12-14th Sep 2017) format, with bookings available via our website from June.
Kind regards
Andy Gillett (BSc, MSc, PhD)
