Hi Winnie
If you have issues like this then it is best to raise them on the CA Helpdesk as not all the CA team are on TB-SUPPORT.
This occasionally happens and we've tried to track it down before.
Something like 70% of missing emails are that the email has gone to the wrong email address because it was spelled wrong (obviously not in your case since the 2nd email did arrive).
Of the remainder about 90% are due to a SPAM filter at the customer end blocking it (so check Junk mail or SPAM folders).
As for late emails then if at the moment the email is being sent there is a network issue then it often doesn't go but goes on a subsequent day and there might be various reasons/places why it gets delayed in transit.
BTW we always suggest that you shouldn't be reliant on our email and you it is best to use things like Nagios to monitor your host certificate expiries so that in the case of network issues somewhere along the way or your staff being away then you'll be informed.
Anyway, I'll take a look and see what if/when emails were sent.
I'll root around and see if I can see whether the CA thinks it was sent or not.
Cheers
JK
