We've had odd things with ARGUS.
A quick possibility... perhaps it is the order in which you start the
daemons. Try this:
/etc/init.d/argus-pap restart; /etc/init.d/argus-pdp restart;
/etc/init.d/argus-pepd restart
Another quick thing. I sometimes run this after I reboot. I forget why,
but it helped at some time.
sleep 300
/etc/init.d/argus-pdp reloadpolicy
/etc/init.d/argus-pepd clearcache
And sometimes I run this (argus.pol has the "policies")
/usr/bin/pap-admin rap
/usr/bin/pap-admin apf /root/scripts/argus.pol
And so on. Eventually, it has always worked in the end!
Cheers,
Ste
