It is that past, a nostalgia trip to earlier times, Bill. So that final couplet nails it. On the other hand, I, or some of my family, must’ve had one or 2 back when I was very young, but here in Canada, we got into suitcases early in my lifetime.
I see them as artifacts in TV shows or movie, rather than as part of my own memories, which makes your remembering all the more intriguing here….
