I am sending news of a series of events on behalf of Sophie Mayer and Selina Robertson, based around the work on B. Ruby Rich.
These will be a four-day event at the Barbican Cinema, entitled ‘Being Ruby Rich<http://www.barbican.org.uk/film/event-detail.asp?ID=19960>‘ (as part of their 2017 Film in Focus season), sponsored by Film London<http://filmlondon.org.uk/> and co-curated by Club des Femmes<http://www.clubdesfemmes.com/>, a queer-feminist film curating collective, and a one-day symposium at Birkbeck College. The symposium will act as a pre-conference event for ‘Feminist Emergency : International Conference<http://www.bbk.ac.uk/events-calendar/feminist-emergency>’ (22-24 June 2017).
