My name is Dr Michelle Addison and I am a researcher currently managing a study looking at pathways to stimulant use at the Institute of Health and Society, Newcastle University. Health inequalities are a particular focus in this research. Please could you circulate this call to your networks? Many thanks in advance for any assistance.

PARTICIPANTS NEEDED
(ATTUNE) Understanding Pathways to Stimulant Use: a mixed-methods examination of the individual, social and cultural factors shaping illicit stimulant use across Europe
This study aims to understand more about pathways to illicit stimulant and NPS use and the impact these have on your day-to-day life. We are interested in the factors that have shaped your stimulant use (particularly ‘amphetamine type substances’ – e.g. speed, ecstasy, whizz, crystal meth, MDMA, mephedrone, misuse of Ritalin®).
• Are you 18 years+? Are you a current or ex user of stimulants? Have you had the chance to use stimulants and then didn’t? Do you live in North East England?
• Taking part would involve an informal interview that would last 1 hour with a trained researcher from Newcastle University.
• We are interested in your personal views - there are no wrong or right answers.
• All the information collected will be anonymised and treated as confidential.
You will receive a £10 high street shopping voucher for taking part. If you are interested or have any questions please get in touch with Dr Michelle Addison ([log in to unmask] or 0191 208 3031)
