‘Creative Conversations: How Can Creative Businesses Be Ethical & Profitable?
Time: Welcome Drinks 6:30 / Panel Starts 7pm
Date: Wednesday 3rd May 2017
Venue: Stockwell Street Building / University of Greenwich / London
Creative Conversations would like to invite you to a panel discussion on how creative businesses can be both ethical and profitable.
Our panel will address the following questions:
In a business environment, in which attention is a commodity, consumers have become communities and communities are business assets, how do we best understand the relationship between financial, social and ethical value?
In a public and commercial culture, in which value is only acknowledged to the extent that it can be measured and evidenced, what values do we measure and how do we quantify them?
What creative business models effectively integrate ethical frameworks, social purpose and profitability to create sustainable businesses?
Creative Conversations is a programme of events and research in the Department of Creative Professions and Digital Arts at the University of Greenwich, investigating the relationship between creativity and commerce in the creative industries.’
