Hi,
I don’t know what an institution pays for Ingenta Library membership, or the services provided, but if you are considering the adoption of RedLink’s new Library Dashboard tool there are significant discounts available on both the set up fee and annual subscription fee if you are an Ingenta Library member. One may help to justify the cost of the other, if you see what I mean?!
I should say that Burgundy is no way affiliated to Ingenta but we are the exclusive UK/Euro distributor for RedLink’s Library Dashboard.
Regards,
Paul Calow, Director

Unlike some other federations, we do not charge Service Providers as we consider Federated Single Sign On to be a vital part of the community infrastructure and a bench mark of resource access that we do not wish to see any barriers added to.

No, we aren't taking out a membership. Our budget is very tight and we can't really justify spending money on stuff that's not actual content. I also don't want to encourage the precedent of charging us to conveniently access our subscribed content; as far as I'm concerned, these membership "benefits" are the sort of basic functionality that should be included in our subscription, without having to pay extra.
