My client are currently looking for a GIS Analyst to join them on a contract role for around 2 months initially with the out look to extend.
They are looking for someone that is going to be able to provide GIS data support for their company and the ideal candidate is going to have a BSc or equivalent in a relevant degree with very good knowledge and practical experience of GIS (ArcGIS) and its applications. You will be taking part in a range of projects that are taking place in the UK and Europe.
The ideal candidate is going to have a BSc or equivalent in a relevant degree and have very good knowledge and practical experience of GIS (ArcGIS) and its applications. You must be able to prioritise and plan your workload and communicate well with other team members and clients.
Essential Experience;
Minimum 2 years’ work experience in the use of ArcGIS and ESRI geodatabases, including completion of Metadata
Excellent computer literacy (notably Microsoft Excel, Access and Word 2013)
Knowledge of the UK geographical coordinates system
Experience in data analysis, interpretation and acquisition
Excellent communication and writing skills
Ability to plan workloads and work to deadlines
Teamwork and flexibility
Strong interpersonal skills
Current valid driving licence and own transport
