This is just a reminder that the second study day of the BASEES Forum for Czech and Slovak Studies in the UK will take place at the University of Sheffield on Friday May 19th 2017.
The day will be attended by most UK-based emerging and established academics teaching and researching in Czech- and Slovak-related areas, and alongside the presentation and discussion of current UK-based Czech- and Slovak-related research and teaching, the day will also host writers and translators involved in an outstanding new anthology of contemporary Slovak literature (for more information, see: http://bodyliterature.com/2017/03/31/slovak-fiction-week-into-the-spotlight/)
For the draft programme, see: https://www.sheffield.ac.uk/russian/research/czech-studies-day-2017 All interested current PGRs and established scholars welcome.
