Hi all.
Can any one advise me at all. I have a man who currently uses a freeway for TV and using a buddy button on his arm chair. He has uncontrolled movements but is able to operate the switch. he also has a degree of visual impairment but can see dark and light shapes but also some limited vision of a TV screen that is quite near to him. he also has very low speech volume. On review he wants to be able to use a computer to play his cd collection. issues are he does not have a computer and has not used one for 10 years he also may have a degree of cognitive mild deficits. I want to really find him a CD player that he can access via a switch. I have thought with regards to an mp3 player etc but feel his ageing parents may struggle to down load cds etc. the only though is to contact the RNIB and see what they recommend they have a daisy player but again not sure regards to switch access but also client would still have to put the cd in the machine.
any help muchly appreciated.
kind regards
